DIGESTIVE ISSUES

Do you suffer from bloating, reflux, stomach pain, or are you anxious about going out and need to plan your trip to make sure you have access to a toilet? Digestive issues can be debilitating and due to a number of causes e.g. inflammatory bowel or coeliac disease.

How can I help?

I take a thorough look at your symptoms and if necessary, recommend blood or stool tests to get to the root of your digestive issues. I work with you to:

  • help you identify any food intolerances or sensitivities e.g. dairy, gluten

  • eliminate any harmful infections or parasites

  • support digestion

  • restore beneficial gut bacteria

  • repair your gut lining

  • rebalance lifestyle factors such as stress that can have an impact on your gut

HIGH CHOLESTEROL

High cholesterol is often “silent”— it may not cause any symptom and many people discover they have high cholesterol only after a routine blood test. Managing your cholesterol is key to reducing your risk of heart disease, stroke and other serious health conditions.

I work with you to:

  • provide personalised dietary and lifestyle advice

  • suggest heart-healthy recipe ideas and ways to reduce ultra-processed foods

  • find out if there are any other imbalances

Depending on your cholesterol levels, we can use nutritional therapy to lower it naturally through sustainable changes. If necessary, I’ll liaise with your GP to make sure you have the best possible care.

PREDIABETES

If you’re always feeling tired and struggling to concentrate, no matter how much sleep you’ve had or you are relying on coffee to keep you going, you are not alone. Your blood sugar is creeping up, and you’ve been told to “eat better” and “lose a few kilos”… but do you know where to start?

I work with you to recommend small, realistic changes in your eating habits and daily routine, that can have a significant impact on your overall health. Some of the ways I do this is by focusing on:

  • reducing inflammation

When done consistently, these can improve your energy levels and reverse prediabetes, without crash diets or calorie counting. With ongoing support, I am here to encourage you achieve your goals. If necessary, I liaise with your GP to make sure you have the best possible care.
